Portmore Gardens - Peeblesshire

Set in the Peeblesshire countryside, the old Victorian gardens at Portmore have been recreated by the current owners Mr and Mrs David Reid over the past 30 years.

Synopsis
The 1½ acre walled garden, which is at its height between mid July to August, has splendid double herbaceous borders, a potager, rose garden and a pleached lime walk. There are large Edwardian glasshouses. Below the house lies a formal garden of yew hedges with a water feature and box parterre.
