Synopsis
Owner Lynda Crouch knew very little about gardening when they moved into a modern housing estate in a rural Perthshire village. But an invitation by a friend to a meeting at the Scottish Rock Garden Club changed everything and, with the help of a load of large stone salvaged from a ruined mansion next door, she embarked on a life-changing project which has developed into a garden cram-packed with plants and interest. The clay soil in the garden was poor so she decided to build ‘upwards’ using the stone and imported soil and compost.
