Synopsis
Beachcombing 'finds' are an essential element, not only cockle, limpit or mussel shells washed up by incoming tides, but also the inevitable flotsam and jetsam — corks, scraps of netting, random lengths of rope, the occasional fisherman's float and driftwood sculpted by the sea. The smallest shells are ideal for gluing to small plastic plant pots with a glue gun, and planting with echeveria succulents or prickly cacti — complete with a mulch of shells.
