Synopsis
Abutting the conservatory is a sunken terrace with dining table, edged in borders, pots of succulents and a raised pond. Down each side of the east-facing plot run borders filled with perennials, especially light, airy plants that can been seen through. At the rear, one corner is taken with a bespoke greenhouse whilst a shed and cold frame occupies the opposite one: in between is a small lawn. Unusually, the centre of the garden is filled with an E-shaped raised bed, initially designed for a kitchen garden, but now filled with herbs and alpines.
