Synopsis
It is a 1.5 acre South facing country garden and is owned and managed by former BBC Gardener of the Year, Sue Beesley.
The garden wraps around Bluebell Cottage with winding paths enticing the visitor to explore its many different sections. At the top of the garden, modern perennial planting draws the eye across wide borders packed with thousands of rare and familiar hardy herbaceous perennials, shrubs and trees. Nestling in the centre of the garden is a large informal pond with an adjacent gravel garden packed with bright, drought-resistant plants.
The garden is open to the public and there is a specialist nursery that stocks a wide range of hardy perennials.
