A Cotswold Arts and Crafts Garden

Businesses are rarely linked to lovely gardens but The Manor at Little Compton is different. The site of Reed Business School is a Cotswold Arts and Crafts garden of contrasting garden rooms. These include wildflowers, colour-themed herbaceous borders.

Synopsis
The garden at The Manor was originally laid out in the 1930s. The house, parts of which date back to medieval times, was bought by Sir Alex Reed in 1972 and he is closely involved with the running of the garden. Garden planting includes perennials and topiary in The Flower Garden, sun-lovers in the Rock Garden, herbaceous and standard wisteria in The Four Quarters, hot colours in the swimming pool garden, and long, colour-themed borders in The Palette. There are also an arboretum, vegetables and a wildflower meadow.
