Synopsis
This is the small village garden of Vanessa Berridge , garden writer. It is a Cottage style garden in the heart of a village in Gloucestershire, and is packed with small areas that defy the fact that it's a tiny patch! It has a lovely ornate gate that opens in to the garden, there are cosy corners with rustic benches, paved areas beneath arches and loads of carefully selected plants, including a good collection of roses. The planting is informal and welcoming to wildlife, and the family cat enjoying relaxing amidst the pots.
