The garden at 10 Statham Avenue has evolved over the last 30 years under the care of the current owners Mike and Gail Porter.

Synopsis
It is a beautifully structured ¼ acre, south facing garden which has been carefully terraced and planted. Managing the rising slope has been addressed using several levelled beds with mixed planting and enticing seating areas. Colourful open sunny beds contrast with shady secret places. Rose pillars lead to varied herbaceous beds with pastel shades in early summer. There are also interesting garden buildings, an ornate greenhouse and raised beds in a kitchen garden. Warm evenings are rewarded with fragrance from numerous roses and shrubs. Mike and Gail open their garden each year for the National Garden Scheme.
