This long, thin balcony garden (16 x 1.4 widening to 2.2m from about midway) has been designed on the fourth floor of a contemporary block of flats overlooking the Thames.

Synopsis
Deep planters are largely filled with evergreen architectural plants with lower-growing varieties outside the sitting room where views are paramount, and taller, maturer specimens creating a leafy screen outside the bedrooms, affording shelter to a daybed and dining area.
