Compact Clematis from Raymond Evison
Today's clematis plants are very different from the old varieties, many of which have gorgeous flowers, but can be unruly and gangly, whereas modern cultivars are bred to be more compact in habit.

Gardening in Miniature
Pint-sized gardens demand gallons of imagination, and the smaller the plants, the greater the variety that can be grown in a limited space. This is where alpine and rock plants come into their own, flowering profusely between early spring and summer.

Cornflowers
Cornflowers make great cut flowers. Now a rare wild flower, we can grow them easily on our own plots and we will be helping the bees as well who adore feeding on them.
