Synopsis
Hammamelis - Witch Hazel flowers provide great winter interest with colourful and beautifully scented flame coloured flowers. The only exception is one variety; Hammamelis virginiana which flowers in autumn.

The Witch Hazel Nursery, owned by Chris Lane, is a wholesale nursery but there are specific open days when visitors are given a tour of the site where over 500 plants are on display. During these open days visitors get the chance to purchase plants. Other plants featured at the nursery are Amelanchier, Betula , Cercidiphyllum, Prunus (Flowering Cherries), Syringa and Wisteria.
