Synopsis
Initially created using a piece of vacant land that once housed nurseries and greenhouses, Weeping Ash has evolved into an established garden. It is made up of a series of circles joined together using ponds and flowerbeds which creates a sense of secrecy for visitors. A water garden with a bridge and weir forms a centrepiece to the garden. John has allowed plants to develop as they would in the wild, reseeding where they land and allowing natural progression and growth; nature at its best.  It is garden of all year interest and a joy to experience at any time but during late January and February more than 100 varieties of snowdrops flower along with winter aconites cyclamen and early flowering shrubs and hellebores. John opens his garden for the National Garden Scheme.
