Synopsis
The garden is situated in the small village of Persingen close to Nijmegen. The driveway to the garden is flanked by several impressive Pyrus calleryana 'Chanticleer' trees and bold Hydrangeas. The garden is made up of A number of diffent garden rooms; a knot garden, pond, kitchen garden, orchard, with apples, pears and plums and grazing land for Iceland ponies.

In 2008 the owners planned a new 1500 square metre informal grass prarie garden of which is at ist best in late summer and autumn. Different grasses such as Miscanthus, Deschampsia, and Calamagrostis are combined with perennials and annuals including Verbena bonariensis. There are beautiful views to the surrounding countryside.

The garden rooms close to the house are more formal, divided by hedges for privacy, There's a knot garden with green and variegated Buxus adding good structure and looks fantastic with snow or frost. The terrace at the rear of the house has glass panels for wind protection. There's a vegetable garden and small herb garden full of herbs, vegetables, berries and cutflowers such as Dahlias in summer. A natural path leads to the grass garden, flanked by trees such as willows, lilacs, hawthorns, hazels and arrowwoods. Stork's nest closeby.
