Synopsis
A 22 acre garden full of exotic and subtropical plants as well as significant sculptures and installations by renowned artists including David Nash and James Turrell. Tremenheere occupies a steep sided valley which gives wonderful views out to St Michael's Mount and the surrounding landscape and seascape of west Cornwall. Planting emphasises the sculptural and architectural qualities of foliage, with bold palms, cycads, bamboos and tree ferns amongst succulents, grasses and restios. Includes a relocated gold medal winning Chelsea Flower Show garden by Darren Hawkes made of over 40,000 pieces of slate.
