Synopsis
With stunning views of the city's most famous landmarks, Tower Bridge, St. Pauls and The Gherkin to name a few, owner Nick Lacey began the project in the mid 1990's and hasn't looked back since. The moorings now house over 100 people and each barge has its own character. Box hedges contrast with soaring Robinia and Betulas and key plants that can withstand the harsh elements of shallow soil, drought and wind have been repeated, including Choisya, Vinca minor and Ivy. Nick manages the gardens as a whole, but the tenants are free to snip herbs and grow their own patches in any space they can.
