Synopsis
An absolute haven for wildlife, this classic cottage garden with an entrance through a rustic archway with Rosa 'Maigold' and Rosa 'Schoolgirl' climbing over it, is located in 'The Lizard', a quiet conservation area set in a small community, on the edge of Wymondham in Norfolk. There is a nearby Lizard Walk, a circular route of about one and a half miles long, along a public footpath to the former Forncett-Wymondham railway line and back by way of the embankment.

Barry and Mandy Milton moved here 9 years ago from Norwich looking for a bigger house and when they saw the details of this cottage dating from 1830, right on the edge of countryside, Mandy just knew they would end up living there. 'There is a great sense of community here, people are so friendly and tolerant of one another - it's a very special place to live' says Mandy. They wanted to create a typical cottage style garden and now, it is tightly planted with great passion and brimming with cottage style plants especially chosen to attract wildlife.
