Synopsis
Built in 1923, the glasshouse at Parham House and Gardens, is the remaining section of an original set of 4 that had fallen into disrepair. Once restored, in the mid 80’s, planting has been devoted to ornamental plants, particularly old species and scented Pelargoniums, Plumbago, Ferns, and Heliotrope alongside Stocks, Salpiglossis and Brugmansia to name but a few, to bring a sense of nostalgia and history.
