The Avenue Summer

This is a large contemporary garden designed by RHS Chelsea Gold Medal Winner Marcus Barnett, consisting of four levels interconnected with paths, to take the visitor from room to room.

Synopsis
There is contrast between formal areas, relaxing areas for entertaining and the informal wild garden at the back of the garden, all separated with the use of Beech columns. Contemporary sculptures are displayed throughout, and there is a striking modern summerhouse with sedum roof, soothing infinity pool. The owners open the garden under the NGS scheme during May-July.
