Synopsis
The Swiss Garden was created 1824-32 by Lord Ongley. It is a mixed style, quirky garden/landscape park with ponds, bridges, impressive glass-roofed Grotto and Fernery with rustic features including the Swiss Cottage with a thatched roof on a hill, used as a teahouse and Indian Kioosk.
