Synopsis
A fabulously colourful garden hidden deep in the Cornish countryside, this is the haven of Sue Newton and her husband. Sue does much of the gardening herself, and even though it's a fairly new plot, the place is vibrant with colour and plant interest in mid summer. With a backdrop of tall trees, some of the garden gets lovely shade, and there are interesting areas all around. There is a gravel garden, with a fabulous stone bench, there are deep perennial borders filled with roses and other cottage classics. There is also a vegetable garden, herb borders, and a sprinkling of interesting art pieces. Well worth a visit! It's open under the National Garden scheme.
