Synopsis
'One of the nicest visitor's comments was made by a young father with his daughters when he remarked that a bed of tulips, wallflowers and primulas was like a big smile,' recalls Susan from the city garden that she and Earl, both 70 and professional artists, have created over the last several decades. 'The playwright Jack Rosenthal, Maureen Lipman's late husband, loved our garden for its riot of colour - he often used to come round to inspect Earl's ceramics,' she adds.
