Synopsis
It has been skillfully divided into several intimate gardens connected by one long path. From the courtyard there follows a Mediterranean garden packed with luscious exotic plants in terracotta pots and a raised water feature. Here the emphasis is on texture and form with a splash of colour. A kitchen garden and large greenhouse are filled with interesting fruit and vegetables, all organically grown. From here the path leads to mixed borders with unusual herbaceous perennials and a pond. Maureen opens her garden for the National Garden Scheme and for groups by prior arrangement.
