Synopsis
One of the more curious places that Shakespearian heroines are immortalised is in the winter garden, not as flowery prose, but as a collection of double snowdrops which, with delicate forms and ruffled skirts, include Desdemona, Ophelia, Titania and Jaquenetta. 'Doubles are often dismissed by experts as common and lacking rarity or novelty, but many remain good snowdrops that grow well and, individually, have great charm.
