Synopsis
This very small Amsterdam town garden is only 60sq metres and is very low maintenance. This type of garden, known as 'Grachtentuin' which means water canal garden, is very typical for Amsterdam terraced houses as the gardens are often situated by water canals.

The design is formal with clipped box hedges and a raised terrace at the end of the garden. All paths are covered with shell mulch to help prevent the very common slugs. The spring bulb colour scheme is yellow and white to brighten it up and trellis is used for climbing plants.
