Synopsis
Drought tolerant plants and grasses were introduced to provide scent, colour and textures – Kristina also wanted to bring changes of height into the garden over the seasons. Every pupil helped in the process and design – a completely voluntary project. It is hoped that the garden will go on to encourage the children to develop a love of plants and nature, that could last a lifetime. The garden was officially opened by Fergus Garrett of nearby Great Dixter in 2017.
