Synopsis
These gardens have been nurtured by gardeners for centuries, resulting in high quality soil and a large scale market garden. The process of biodynamic gardening is returning to a natural system of growing using natural methods of crop rotation, composting and using manure. It is extremely popular with visitors who come to relax and eat but it is also a place of learning. Rosendal staff run regular workshops and even consultations for people who wish to improve their own gardens or balconies.

Autumn is a wonderful time to visit, there has been plenty of produce to harvest, the low sun lights up the changing leaves and the garden is a delight to explore. Almost everything is for sale, the plants, produce, herbs and even bread from the artisan bakery too.
