Synopsis
An oasis of peace and calm in the heart of Cambridge.

Dr. Carrie Herbert is best known for her pioneering work on harassment and bullying in schools and the work place. She lives in the centre of Cambridge and has created a magical and elegant garden which appears so much bigger on the inside than out by the skilled use of internal boundaries and careful planting.

Whilst incorporating so many features, design principles and a vast range of plants it still seems balanced and elegant at all times. Every June the garden surprises and delights hundreds of new visitors when Carrie opens her garden to help raise funds for The Red Balloon Learner Centre which she set up for children who had been bullied at school.
