Synopsis
It's an opportunity missed because hot colours are exciting and really stand out in a garden, contributing to many striking colour combinations. As a transitory display, hanging baskets provide the perfect opportunity to experiment and introduce new colours into an established garden. Daisy-like gerberas, a popular cut flower as well as sensational summer bedding, are readily available from garden centres in a wide variety of warm to sizzling hues. The soft green leaves are handsome in their own right, contrasting against the brown tufted sedge, whilst also covering the soil.
