It is only five years since the owners of this once-acre village garden moved deep into the Wiltshire countryside.

Synopsis
However, in that short time, their gently rising plot has been transformed into a series of beds and borders linked by paths and separated by lawns, with a gazebo, orchard, potager and various seating areas, all wrapped around their four-bedroom house. By August, it is their collection of lavender that is the star, filling beds and borders with movement, colour, fragrance and a continual feast for the many visiting insects.
