Synopsis
'We had long dreamt of designing and creating a garden from an entirely blank canvas, digging in every plant, shrub and tree, and getting to know every inch of the plot intimately,' explain the couple from the village of West Dean, where they moved in 2011, exchanging their previous, mature garden for an acre of lawn.
