Synopsis
In June the Rose Garden looks wonderful, with over 90 old fashioned varieties. There is also a Yellow and White Garden, and a Square Garden with pastel-coloured borders and Victorian style greenhouse. Mrs Bruce enjoys making the garden as self-sufficient as possible, with the use of a wind turbine, rainwater collection, and ground source heat pump. She also seeks to keep any chemical use to a minimum. The garden is open under the National Gardens Scheme in the summer months.
