Synopsis
A large wooden deck was constructed behind the house in two sections, the design consisting of two overlapping curves, a favourite device used by Kate Eyre Design. The upper tier is level with the house and extends directly from the kitchen, extending the living area. There is a contemporary barbecue in the side return and a hot tub too, and two raised beds with contemporary planting with grasses.
The second tier is exclusively a dining area, with bespoke built in seating along with a table and wooden chairs. There is stylish lighting at floor level providing illumination for garden parties and entertaining.
As you proceed down through the garden, you enter the main part which consists of a more traditional lawn area with perennial and shrub borders. The lawn is the children’s space with a trampoline and as you get to the end, you will find a traditional wooden climbing frame. A small shed houses garden tools, and a private patio with wood decking and grey stone paving allows parents into the play area to join the children.
