Synopsis
This is a great project to do with those left over or slightly broken bamboo canes from the garden. Simple but effective, this will hopefully encourage insects to stay in your garden. Just cut the canes to the same length then tie them together leaving enough rope or string to suspend the insect home from a branch or to add to a larger habitat. If you want to attract ladybirds to help you fend off those pesky aphids then place your bug habitat next to a rose bush or any plant likely to attract aphids.
