The typical town garden is a long, narrow affair that all too easily becomes a dull patch of grass edged in unloved borders, but this London garden shows that even the most uninspiring plot offers great scope for imaginative design.

Synopsis
Divided into two distinct areas, there is a formal flower garden near the house, and a functional vegetable patch in the furthest third of the plot. There is a strong structure so that it looks good even during the winter with a dusting of frost. It's perfect for work, relaxation and entertaining. It is since 1991 that the 5.5 metres by 23 metre garden has evolved gradually.
