Synopsis
Tom planted the large area in from of the house with classic wildflowers, including wild carrot, knapweed, common bent, brown bent and crested dogstail. This sweeps down towards the river, with winding paths which cut through the meadow. And continuing the natural theme, the boundary has several decorative wood piles woven around the trees, which serve as insect habitats. Next to the house, there is a large wood deck with easy access to the kitchen for dining in the summer. This is surrounded by herbaceous borders with tall grasses adding privacy. And at the front is a smaller area with drive with more grasses and Hydrangeas surrounding the entrance.
