Synopsis
Juliet Davis is a magician with Lenten Roses, conjuring up hundreds of new guises for this seemingly malleable flower which responds to her delicate touch. She has created hundreds of exquisite new blooms in shades which refuse to be bound by single colour categorises. Green meddles with rose, inky-black smoulders with rouge. With a blink of sunlight it is all change as illuminated flower heads dance from ruby to burgundy, slate to midnight, and apricot to amber. She is developing the apricots and yellows and specialises in anemone centred hybrids but also breeds doubles and singles in clear or picotee colours. Her garden is stuffed with vigorous, healthy hellebores, many of which raise their heads to be viewed. Many of her plants boast over 100 flower heads each, really robust and floriferous specimens.
