Synopsis
Designed by James Walsh of Living Colour Gardens, the aim was to keep it looking as natural as possible, framing the grass with brick edging using reclaimed bricks that tie in well with the new raised beds and perimeter wall. They wanted to keep the planting natural too, and quite wild, with lots of seasonal interest. They love cooking and entertaining, so making the garden part of the house was essential. Using oak decking boards and bespoke BBQ and seating areas near to the house, this was successfully achieved. Combined with a brick patio at the back, this has allowed them the chance of al fresco dining and entertaining in the sun - with a ready made playing area for small folk!
