Synopsis
Borders around the simple, timber built house are brimming with lush herbaceous perennials including monardas, astilbes, grasses and Dipsacus pilosus, the small teasel. Woodland areas lead on to a dramatic ravine, through which the Hunting Brook of the garden's name flows. Having spent years plant collecting in far flung corners of the world Jimi now concentrates on plants that are good garden performers rather than simply curiosities. He lectures, leads garden tours and runs courses at his garden. Lots of planting inspiration.
