Hinton Road Garden

Rarely does a garden have as much packed into so confined a space as Antonia Dudley-Smith's. 'I've always loved plants - my mother is a very keen gardener - and grow as many as I can cram in,' says Antonia from her city garden in south-east London.

Synopsis
It is a small plot, measuring just 35-metres-long by 5-metres-wide, but it gives an illusion of greater space than the dimensions suggest because the boundary fences have been kept low and partly veiled by planting. 'This garden now benefits from 'borrowed' views of the neighbours' gardens, and seems much wider,' she adds.
