Synopsis
This romantic rose garden in the Surrey Hills, was designed by Geoffrey
Cridland, and is the culmination of an eight-year project to transform it .
Geoffrey had a free reign to create his signature floriferous style of
garden, and using a soft palette of pinks, whites and purples, a profusion
of roses and herbaceous perennials now overflow from the York stone walls.
In the sunken terrace a Victorian wirework Venetian rose seat is a stunning
centre piece, while Lavender lined paths punctuated with Box balls in
Versailles planters, lead through an allee of pleached trees and clipped
hedges to a green arbour. A charming traditional English country garden ,
which looks and seems to be centuries old.
