Greencombe

Greencombe gardens were started in 1946 by Horace Stroud. This 3.5 acres sits at the edge of ancient woodland. It is is an unusual position with the Bristol Channel to the north of at the south there are wooded slopes tumbling between Exmoor and the sea.

Synopsis
Most of the wonderful plants in Greencombe gardens have been planted in their current positions yet the garden manages to feel natural. This has been organically gardened for over 37 years, producing tons of their own compost and leaf mould.
