Synopsis
This exquisite 35-acre garden was first created by William Robinson in 1885, and are now managed by Head Gardener Tom Coward and his team. Surrounding what is now a luxury hotel, Gravetye Manor gardens are an integral part of visitors' experience. Throughout the seasons, the gardens are lovingly tended and are brimming with colour and inspiring plant combinations. In autumn the planting palette ranges from hot reds and oranges, to more muted tints. The gardens make the most of the surrounding trees and countryside, as foliage starts to turn.
