Synopsis
It's rare to find such a well-designed family garden that pleases everyone without undue compromise. 'Simon wanted a big lawn so that he could play games with the children, whilst I envisaged an uncluttered garden with breathing space, but also a sense of enclosure,' says Selina. Her design hinges on interlinking circular shapes and curves that connect the different spaces around the 28-metre-long by 20-metre-wide suburban garden. 'Wherever you are in the space, it's all about being encircled by plants, flowers and trees,' she adds.
