Synopsis
Geoffrey Ingham has selected hardy architectural evergreen plants that are able to withstand a harsh East Anglian winter, yet create the effect of an exotic lush winter wonderland. The spikey form of plants such as Trachycarpus wagernianus look stunning with a layer of frost, while box shapes of all sizes and shapes, bamboo and interesting shrubs provide form and structure. The many layered and textural effect of these carefully selected evergreen plants provides all year round interest but none more visually stunning than when covered in frost. This feature captures this magical winter wonderland reminiscent of Narnia, created by Geoffrey Ingham.
