Synopsis
It was, without doubt, the sight of magnificent trees set against an open rural landscape of hills, spinneys and valleys that instantly attracted Steven and Calista Dickinson to their Kent home. By the time the couple had walked round the garden, they had fallen in love with the place, drawn as much by the light-filled modern interior of the house as the splendid array of trees. The garden was rather overgrown and at first seemed a daunting project but they were keen to create an outdoor space to enjoy all year round, an aspect greatly influenced by Calista who was brought up in Canberra and subsequently lived in Sydney.
