Synopsis
Tricia and her husband, Robin, moved to this former farmhouse 40 years ago. According to Robin the garden 'was always a very promising site, with its natural stone, the variety and disposition of the buildings, and its setting'. A pond made by damming a small stream creates a centrepiece and reflects the views beyond. In places the couple have revealed and made features of large stones, while dismantled walls have provided material for building in other places in the garden and for Robin's sculptures. Tricia has a particular liking for green plants and flowers and an appreciation of varying textures of foliage and for self seeders! A country garden with elegance, style and humour.
