Synopsis
Added to UNESCO World Heritage List, this stunning estate is set in some of the most beautiful countryside within the Val d'Orcia region of Italy. In 2003 it was purchased and brought back into use. There is now a luxury spa hotel and guest suites, apart from this the estate has been kept as intended. The forests, farmland and landscaped gardens have been used and preserved at the same time. The working kitchen garden provides produce for the hotel restaurant. The vineyard produces around 300,000 bottles of wine annually.

The 800 year old cypress trees that line the driveway and paths are now beautifully lit at night, encouraging visitors in and out of this amazing estate, there are some 400 of these trees around the estate. The gardens are a delight, basking in the Mediterranean sunshine, there are vast flower borders and wilder meadows through the woodlands. This is not just a beautiful place to visit but it is an important place both environmentally and culturally.
