Synopsis
This area in South West London has two distinct levels. The original sloped border was an unplanned and unsatisfactory solution for a very visible feature. So a simple three tier stepped bed has been constructed, acting both as a physical barrier, retaining soil, as well as a focal-point. Using recycled London yellow brick, to match the style of the Victorian house and York Stone slabs saved from previous building work, this simple project has transformed the aspect of the garden.
