Synopsis
The front lends itself to woodland garden which in Spring has many varieties of unfurling ferns, flowering azaleas and rhododendrons and shade loving plants like Epimedium, Hellebore and Arisaema. A path then takes you round to a sheltered courtyard filled with large pots planted with varieties of Hosta and Hemerocallis. Finally, there is a long colourful, mixed border and island beds planted in a naturalistic style with grasses, tulips, Euphorbia, Aquilegia and Persicaria. Barry & Melanie Davy open their garden to the National Garden Scheme each year.
