Synopsis
The gardens are Italianate in style and reflect the period penchant for such design. The green architecture- lawns and evergreen hedges is extensive, punctuated by the magnificent topiary garden- rife with clipped and hewn topiary across a wide range of evergreen plant material. This topiary bed is quite unique and provides an unusual backdrop to the Italianate flowerbeds and fountains .A rockwork quarry grotto, complete with waterfalls, spills with a fine collection of ferns.
